Surf Life Saving takes great pride in being a volunteer organisation that has seen consistent growth in the number of dedicated volunteers. Our clubs and members form the core of our organisation, and we deeply value their commitment. These volunteers selflessly dedicate their time on and off the beach, playing a vital role in our ongoing success.
Our volunteers come from diverse backgrounds and bring a wealth of experiences to surf lifesaving. Their involvement is driven by various reasons, such as a passion for being part of their local community, actively contributing to community safety, honing new skills, maintaining fitness and activeness, volunteering alongside family members, or simply finding joy in the experience. Their dedication and enthusiasm create a supportive and enjoyable environment for all involved. We cherish the diversity and motivation that our volunteers bring, as it strengthens the fabric of our organisation and the impact we have on saving lives and fostering community spirit.
